The Long Rail Hoisting &Transporting Installation
The young engineer,Li Yinghao,graduated from Changsha Railway Institute took charge of the design of the project.
Process: It has passed the scientific and technological appraisal of the Ministry of Railways in 1988.
Significance: It has sloved the technical problems of pulling,storing,loading and unloading and transportation of 500 metres long steel rail.This major equipment of railway maintenance is still in use.
Achievement: Li Yinghao won the Third Prize of National Invention Award and the First Inventor of the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Railways in 1991.

Process:In 2004,it was used in China for the first time in Dalian, Zhuzhou and other locomotive manufacturing plants, as well as Taiyuan, Luoyang and other repair shops, as well as more than 60 depots nationwide;In 2011,it was the first time to load in China, and it was used in CRRC,Tangshan,Qingdao,Sifang EMU and other units. In 2014,BRI passed the technical review of the 350-kilometer Locomotive Roof Pantograph-supporting Insulator organized by the Railway Academy.
Achievement: The Locomotive Roof Pantograph-supporting Insulator was successfully developed,which solved the pollution flashover problem and transport interruption problem caused by smog..In May 2016,Locomotive Transformer successfully tested over 300,000 kilometre and achieved world leading level.

The Safety Interlocking Monitoring System for high-speed EMU Trains
Function: Effective guiding of dive-in and drive-out of locomotives, manual operating on the roof, high-voltage transmission and power outage.
Process: It passed the technical review of China Ministry of Railways in February 2007.The system was successfully developed on April 12 and accepted the acceptance of experts from the Ministry of Railways.
Achievement: It has been operated safely in more than 60 EMU Depots in 31 provinces and cities nationwide. In 2012, it was successfully applied to the Mecca Metro in Saudi Arabia , which became the first oversea sample project for China's high-speed rail equipment .
Significance: It ensured the first running of China's high-speed trains on April 18th, 2007.

Process: They passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways in April 2009.The world's first Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack for 8-unit High-speed EMU Trains developed by BRI was successfully launched at the first time in Beijing EMU Depot in November. The world's first Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack for 16-unit High-speed EMU Trains developed by BRI was successfully launched at the first time in Wuhan EMU Depot in October 2010!
Achievement: It has obtained 22 patents including International Invention Patents,National Invention Patents as well as 1 software copyrights.The awards we won in recent years include:BRI was ranked first in the first (set) major technical equipment demonstration project by five departments in Beijing,Second Prize of Railway Science and Technology Award in 2011,Third Prize of Beijing Science and Technology in 2012, European Invention Patent in September 2014, USA Invention Patent in June 2015, First Prize of Science and Technology of China Railway Construction Corporation and First Prize of Science and Technology of Hubei Province.
Significance:It created a number of miracles -- internationally most compatible models, the longest lifting length, the highest precision synchronization control. This pioneering work ended the 60-year history without the Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack for High-speed EMU Trains of our country.It was a historic moment for the important development of China’s railways.

Integrated Management Information System for Locomotive Running Preparation
Process: In 2014, the Integrated Management Information System for the Locomotive Running Preparation of BRI passed the technical review organized by China Railway Siyuan Survey And Design Group Co.,LTD.In 2016,the Integrated Online Detection Information System for High-speed EMU Trains,Vehicles&Locomotives running gear and roof passed the technical review organized by Beijing Railway Institute and led by professor Wusu of Tsinghua University.
Significance: The system surpasses existing relative detecting technology, achieving the international leading level.
